瓦莱塔街景建筑
瓦莱塔是马耳他的首都，是欧、亚、非海运交通的枢纽，素有“地中海的心脏”之称。今天小编带大家一起看看马耳他的景致概况，而后细说马耳他7000年历史的别致古迹、风景。

古城沉浸在一片海蓝之中
瓦莱塔以圣约翰骑士团第六任首领拉·瓦莱特的名字命名，城市建筑布局整齐，城街狭直，两旁建筑均为马耳他特有的岩石建成，呈现灰白色。瓦莱塔城由米开朗杰罗的助手弗朗西斯科·拉帕莱利设计。为增强防御功能，背海一面有圣艾尔莫堡护卫，隔海湾左方有迪聂堡、曼纽尔堡，右方有三座古城相护，使瓦莱塔城处于核心。城市建筑布局整齐，城门前有“三海神”喷泉（1959年修建）。

城内有国立考古博物馆、美术馆、曼努尔剧院、建于1571年的骑士团首领宫（现为马耳他国家总统办公所在地）和建于1578年的圣约翰大教堂等古建筑。圣约翰大教堂这座典型的文艺复兴晚期建筑被认为是瓦莱塔的象征。城旁的总理府花园（上巴克拉花园）可以俯瞰大港壮丽迷人的景色。
