如果你有机会来美国，但只能去一个城市，我建议你去芝加哥，保证你回国后对美国赞不绝口，逢人便夸。美国的大城市中，芝加哥并不是我最喜欢的城市，但绝对是美国最“范儿”的城市。没有来过美国的人，对美国的所有幻想，在芝加哥全部都能找到，绝对不会失望：这里有不逊于纽约城的高楼大厦但远比纽约摩登气派；这里有四通八达的城市道路却少有的干净整洁；这里有一望无际的密歇根湖和蜿蜒城中的芝加哥河，空气清新通透且常见蓝天白云；这里有世界级的博物馆足够你逛上两整天；有可与纽约第五大道媲美的“壮丽一英里”密歇根大道，这里有著名的西北大学和芝加哥大学，有芝加哥公牛队和飞人迈克尔-乔丹。。。。作为一座现代都市，如果不考虑她的黑人区，那芝加哥堪称一座完美之城。

芝加哥(2)：芝加哥三日穷游总攻略及芝加哥风味批萨
游玩芝加哥是典型的城市游，现代建筑、城市广场、主题博物馆是芝加哥的三大特色。市区美景集中，很多地方是可以步行到达的，当然需要很强的脚力。游走芝加哥三天比较理想，我的建议是：第一天纯暴走，集中游览市中心相对集中的景点，第二天和第三天坐地铁和公交，去较分散或较远的博物馆等景点。

为了深入体会穷游精神，我强烈建议驴友带上两件穷游“法宝”游芝加哥：法宝一是visitor pass；法宝二是City Pass。visitor pass就是芝加哥公交系统（CTA）专为游客准备的公交套票，分1日票（10刀) 、3日票（20刀）和 7日票（33刀）四种，从第一次乘坐时间开始生效，在有效时间内可以无限次乘坐芝加哥的地铁和公交。如果单独买票，坐一次地铁或公交就要2美刀，还是visitor pass经济实惠还方便。据我的观察，Visitor pass在芝加哥地铁站很难买到，只在芝加哥文化中心内的游客中心有自动售票机卖visitor pass，要备好零钱，不设找赎。如果住在市中心并玩三天，建议买个2日票，因为第一天是市区暴走，不用坐车（如果你住的比较远，或脚力虚弱，那住几日就买几日票吧）；而City Pass是美国几个大城市推出的城市景点一揽子套票，五个景点捆绑销售，比单独买票要便宜一半还多(价格为59元，各景点单独买合计115元）。其他几个城市我没有买City Pass，但我还是推荐买Chicago City Pass，因为里面包括芝加哥的四家主题博物馆（科学与工业博物馆、Shedd Aquarium水族馆、Adler Planetarium天文馆，Field自然史博物馆），还是一处高层观景（Hancock或Sears大厦两者选一），很值。以上五个景点的任一处景点售票处均能买到。当然，我会再开贴介绍Chicago City Pass的物超所值。


此外，还有一则穷游小贴士：全美闻名的芝加哥美术馆不在City Pass里，需要单独花钱游览。不过，芝加哥美术馆每周的周四和周五下午5点至晚9点免费对公众开放。所以，如果去芝加哥玩，建议停留时间能包含周四或周五，免费游览芝加哥美术馆，将穷游精神贯彻到底。（10月20日注：听刚去过芝加哥的朋友说，现在的免费时间只有周五晚上了，建议大家做计划之前，先去官网查看最新时间安排）


以下是我的三日理想穷游规划：
第一日市区暴走（周四或周五为佳）：早上先去海军码头，在码头参加芝加哥河道（建筑博览游-收费项目）游，返回并沿密歇根大道暴走去芝加哥文化中心、千禧公园（又称世纪广场）、5点钟后免费参观芝加哥美术馆，最后去格兰特公园看夜景喷泉。


第二日博物馆游（用visitor pass）：一早坐红线地铁转公车去Museum Campus（博物馆区），这里密集地建有三个博物馆：Shedd Aquarium水族馆、Adler Planetarium天文馆，和Field自然史博物馆。今天要将Museum Campus的三家博物馆中的两家看完（三家全游览完有点困难）。我的建议是先看天文馆和自然史博物馆，下午闭馆后坐车去中国城游览并吃晚饭。酒足饭饱后返回市区，夜游密歇根大道，感受“壮丽一英里”。


第三日继续市区+博物馆游（用visitor pass）：早上乘车先去看芝加哥水塔，再南下去Museum Campus将水族馆匆匆看过，再辗转去很远的科学与工业博物馆，闭馆后回市区，去Sears 大厦或Hancock大厦顶部看黄昏至夜晚时分的芝加哥城。晚上吃一顿芝加哥的美味pizza，结束美妙的三日游。


我在芝加哥是开会，游玩时间比较零散，但以上三日游是我的“精心体会与总结”，游览顺序也是最理想的（如：早上先去海军码头和水族馆，你看到的是朝阳下金光灿灿的芝加哥，下午去的话就是逆光了，拍出的照片会很不理想。）


当然，如果你还有时间游玩芝加哥，你可以去一下林肯公园、橡树公园、海德公园、芝加哥历史博物馆、维瑞格球场、芝加哥公牛队大本营（还有飞人乔丹运球灌篮的英姿雕像）、芝加哥公立图书馆、芝加哥两所名校（西北大学、芝加哥大学）等等。我想，在芝加哥再玩三天也是可以的。


我的芝加哥游记将以三日游为主线，分三贴完成，每贴为一日。今天不做景点介绍，只介绍一下传说中的芝加哥风格匹萨（Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza）吧。去芝加哥之前，我们教授就向我推荐了芝加哥的深盘匹萨，说巨好吃。我们打听酒店大堂经理，他向我们推荐了离酒店不远的Gino’s East。

Gino’s East在芝加哥有很多家分店，我们去的是Ontario and Wells街交汇的那家（电话：312 943-1124），算是老店了。

在芝加哥，吃匹萨是一个吃饭的习惯。不过它不是一直开始就这样的。
在1943年，有个叫 Ike Seawell发明了深盘匹萨，也就是我们说的芝加哥风格匹萨。

匹萨是在一个深盘里烤出来的，不像普通匹萨那么硬，
很湿软，有点烂泥扶不上墙的感觉，不过味道还真不错。

一座小剧场了。这才想起来--芝加哥还是麦当劳叔叔的老家呢。
