第01集（成人礼）
拉格纳洛斯布鲁克和兄弟罗洛在一场抢掠中看见战争之神欧丁和瓦尔基里女武神的神迹。返回家乡后，拉格纳带着儿子比约恩到哈德拉森伯爵的首府卡特加特海峡去参加必经的成人礼。离家之后拉格纳的妻子蕾格莎迅速遣走了两个貌似强奸犯的人。而拉格纳在卡特加特海峡向罗洛表达了向西抢掠的意图， 并用新的导航设备向他展示了此计划的可行性。但是棘手的是这项计划受严厉管治者哈德拉森伯爵限制。他管辖着波罗地海域的掠夺和新贵。接下来拉格纳和比约恩去拜访了一位叫做弗洛基的朋友，一个很有天赋的船匠。他曾秘密建造了一艘新型长船，并测试成功。与此同时在家中，罗洛则对蕾格莎实施令人厌恶的骚扰。

第02集（北国人之怒）

第04集（审判）

第05集（掠夺）
在卡特加特海峡的大会堂，先知预言了哈德拉森伯爵的未来，并告诉他拉格纳正在探寻他的死亡。神祗更偏向谁成为了一个谜题。哈拉德森伯爵为了捍卫自己的能力和生杀大权，他试图去预防不可挽回的局面。拉格纳被伯爵烧毁的房子和农场被他保护了起来。现在的他不得不毅然走上追寻自由的道路。

因为罗洛被哈德森伯爵的士兵折磨，所以为了摆平这一切，此时，虚弱的拉格纳必须不顾一切地见他，而最后的结果必然也只有一个男人能活着离开。

第07集（国王的赎金）
三艘海盗船从上游出发前往东英格兰地心：艾拉王国的皇家花园，拉格纳他试图寻找挽回这一切的办法，但国王貌似对他不感兴趣，他有着不同的计划。

第08集（献祭）
传统朝拜乌普萨拉的祭祀仪式带给他们三个无比的震撼，拉格纳和他父亲从他的妻子身边离开是为了他的孩子平安降临，雷格莎仍在流产的痛苦中挣扎，她向上帝祷告将来会有更多的孩子陪伴他，当这些海盗下定决心上前牺牲的时候，国王才了解他的人民有多么忠诚。
