Our growing company is looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, the Warehouse Manager should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Warehouse Manager Job Duties:
? Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
? Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
? Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
? Manages inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system.
? Maintains physical condition of warehouse and warehouse equipment by ensuring efficient space utilization, routinely inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair and requisitions if necessary, and maintaining overall tidiness.
? Contribute to achieving company financial objectives by planning expenses, analyzing variances, and making necessary corrections where needed.
? Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
? Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
? Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
? Be able to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Warehouse Manager Skills and Qualifications:
Supervision, Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Surveillance Skills, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Equipment Maintenance
Preferred Skills and Experience
Warehouse supervision experience
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Ability to operate a forklift
