Season 12 doesn't just nudge the class rankings around. It kicks the whole ladder over. Since the Season of Slaughter began, Paladin has felt like the class everything else has to measure itself against, especially if you own the expansion. Wing Strikes is the big reason why. The build keeps you moving, clears fast, and rarely feels starved if you've built around Attack Speed and Cooldown Reduction. A lot of players hit that point where farming starts to feel like work, and that's where smart gearing matters. In solo play, it's struggling, and basic attack setups just don't capture what many Barbarian players actually enjoy. Dense layouts favour wide AoE builds, while more focused routes help single-target setups avoid wasting damage. That one choice changes dungeon efficiency more than people expect. So yes, Paladin is the easiest path if you want raw power this season, but smart route planning still matters.
