The planning analytics group at Quantitative Risk Management, Inc. has openings as financial system developer. Basically we are looking for smart people with advanced degree, strong OO programming and analytical/numerical/debug skill. While this is not a quant or trading position and previous financial knowledge isn't required, experience or interested in learning cash flow projection, valuation, balance sheet and income simulation, liquidity, interest and credit risk management are highly desired. Job Description:
Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) is looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to join our fast-paced development team in its Chicago Loop headquarters to design and create world class financial models and systems used to enhance the profitability of QRM's clients. As an planning analytics developer, you will join a group a top-caliber developers responsible for developing software that forecast balance sheet and income, market value, liquidity and credit exposure . You would also be responsible for maintaining existing modules and helping address client issues as necessary. No travel is required.
Job Qualifications

Qualifications:
Candidates must enjoy challenges and demonstrate initiative to solve tough problems and produce results. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must for working with other developers, financial analysts, and managers as a team. Extra efforts to learn new technologies and improve your financial knowledge are also expected. QRM offers an environment where you can continually learn in both the technical and financial domains, and channel your creativity into innovative software development. You will work with the best professionals in an agile environment to hone your own professional skills.

To be a QRM developer, you must have a strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design and the software development process, solid coding and debugging skills, and a passion for contributing in a group environment. Proficiency in an object-oriented language such as C#, Java or C++ is essential. Financial, accounting, risk management knowledge and experience while not required, are preferred.
