2018年2月12日晚，洛杉矶环球影城希尔顿酒店内张灯结彩，喜气洋洋，中国驻洛杉矶总领馆的年度春节招待会在此隆重举行。张平总领事携夫人陈蔚以及副总领事庄志哲、代双明以及总领馆全体成员邀请南加当地政府官员、华侨华人、中资机构、留学人员代表等600多人共庆中国传统新年。

当晚的招待会由文化领事王瑾主持，在热闹的舞狮开场后，张平总领事首先向大家送上新春问候和祝福。“很高兴与各界朋友朋友欢聚一堂，共迎中国农历狗年新年的到来。祝福领区内各界朋友、华侨华人同胞、中资机构员工和留学生们新春快乐、阖家幸福、万事如意！”

上周六刚出席了比佛利山庄旅游局年度「欢乐春节·魅力京津冀」展演活动的张平总领事指出，春节是中华民族最重要的传统节日，所蕴含的中华文化价值理念也在世界各地得到广泛的接受。无论是漫步在比佛利山庄的街道上，还是徜徉在新老唐人街区，都可以感觉到浓浓的年味。随着春节的临近，南加州华人社团的庆祝晚会在中国文艺团体的助威下，更是增添了欢乐和喜悦。

“春节是喜庆的节日，过去一年，中国共产党十九大胜利召开，为未来中国的发展描绘出宏伟蓝图，开启了全面建设社会主义现代化国家的新征程，中国发展进入新时代。春节是团圆的节日，与家人、朋友团聚，与各界有识之士和广大侨胞为促进中国和平统一，与国际社会共同构建人类命运共同体，实现世界大家庭的繁荣、和谐团圆。春节是感恩的节日，感谢侨胞和领区各界朋友为中国改革开放及中美交流作出的贡献。春节还是祝福的节日，最后祝福国家繁荣兴旺，人民幸福，更祝福中美两国人民友谊地久天长，并在新的一年里行稳致远，让和平和繁荣成为人类社会发展的主旋律！”

洛杉矶郡副礼宾官萨博（Lourdes Saab）、蒙特利市公园市长林达坚、核桃市市长苏王秀兰、圣盖博市议员廖钦和、加州众议员周本立代表刘马爱琼（Daisy Ma）洛郡督察巴格代表吴忠国等都出席了招待会，并向总领事送上贺状。

中领馆文化参赞古今邀请到来洛杉矶演出的中国人民大学附属中学艺术团的小艺术家们为来宾献上了精彩的演出。泰国驻洛杉矶总领事Tanee Sangrat与夫人Cholatip Sangrat也到现场同欢。比佛利山市会议与旅游局副总裁桑德斯（Mary Saunders），联邦劳工部西柯维纳办公室区域负责人张克尘（Paul Chang），洛杉矶市警局华裔警官赵一龙，洛杉矶市议员柳大卫助理Daneil Park等主流人士也出席了招待会。

美国华人联合总会会长李社潮、荣誉会长程远，美国华人社团联合会主席郭颂、荣誉主席张素久，美国川渝总商会会长陈慧碧等侨团代表，中华会馆前任主席方杰洲、马培道、吴玉熙，美国华人华侨联谊会主席马树荣等老侨代表到场共同欢庆春节。

当天招待会现场最壮大的是南加州中国留学生的队伍，美西南学联主席吕沐寰、副主席张月峰等30多名优秀留学生代表受邀出席。美西南学联主席吕沐寰指出，春季是中国人最重要的节日，作为留学生受邀出席领馆招待会，感受到了来自祖国的浓浓关怀。随着祖国的不断发展、日益强大，中华文化在全球范围内的影响力也不断扩大，大家都能感受到海外越来越强的春节气息，这也让每一位海外学子倍感自豪和幸福。时至新春佳节，也祝愿祖国在新的一年更加繁荣昌盛。
